Which package should we choose?
Most schools choose Standard. Essentials covers the basics — learners, attendance, CBE assessment, report cards, fees and M-Pesa. Standard adds the timetable, curriculum tools, the full finance ledger, HR and payroll, meals and transport. Enterprise is for large schools and groups that want the AI tools, inventory and several campuses. You can move up at any time.
What counts as an active learner?
Learners enrolled for the term. We count them once per term on a set date, not as a running total, so learners admitted mid-term never cost extra during that term and are never blocked. Archived, transferred and graduated learners aren't counted.
What is the minimum per term?
Each package has a minimum: KES 7,500 for Essentials, KES 15,000 for Standard and KES 35,000 for Enterprise. If learners × rate comes to less, you pay the minimum. The calculator above shows when it applies.
Is there a setup fee?
Yes: KES 10,000 once, paid when you start — including when you start with the free pilot term. For that we import your learners, parents, opening fee balances and fee structures, so you start with your real data. It is waived if you start straight on a yearly plan, and for schools switching from another system.
How does SMS work?
SMS is prepaid. Your school buys SMS credits in bundles — about KES 1.00 per message — and every message sent spends credits. Purchases show on your invoice. SMS is never sold as "unlimited", so you always see what you spend. Email and in-app notifications are free.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a free pilot term. Your school gets one full term of Standard without paying for learners; only the one-off setup fee (KES 10,000) is paid at the start, so we can bring your data in. When the term ends you choose a package, or stay on Standard. Your data is kept either way.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes. Pay three terms upfront and save about 15%, and the setup fee is waived.
Will our price go up?
Your rate is fixed for 2 years from the day you sign. Your bill only changes with your learner count or if you change package.
How do we pay?
By M-Pesa paybill, bank transfer or card. We issue the invoice at the start of each term.
What happens if we pay late?
You have 14 days after the invoice is due. After that, access is paused until it is paid. Your data is never deleted, and we will send you an export on request while the account is paused.
Who owns our data?
Your school does. You can export it at any time, on every package, including after you leave.
Do you have pricing for school groups?
Yes. Groups with 5 or more campuses get a quote based on the total number of learners. Contact our team.
